It's a new year, but California's still fracked. And during the next few days, we have an opportunity to say something about it to those who are supposed to be in charge of oil drilling in California.

Last week, the California Senate passed SB 4, a comprehensive fracking regulation bill authored by environmental champion Senator Fran Pavley. It passed on a party-line vote, with all 28 Democrats voting for it and all 11 Republicans voting against it.

Dayna Bochco is well known as a veteran television producer--together with Steven Bochco, their company has won over 10 Emmy Awards and produced hundreds of hours of television. But Ms. Bochco also does double duty as a committed advocate for California's environment.
